Investigation of the Empowering Factors in the Nursing Profession: A Combined Study

Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) has identified nurses as the key to health success and thus called for improving nursing workforce promote overall around world. Objective: This study was conducted investigate empowering factors in profession. Materials Methods: present based on a qualitative-quantitative mixed-methods approach that started 2019 ended 2022. statistical sample included Nursing faculty professors of Aja University Medical Sciences (Tehran, Iran, n=12 experts) Khanevadeh hospital Iran) (n=143). Data collected from experts were studied through purposeful sampling in-depth interviews. They collected, recorded, coded according systematic analysis qualitative data proposed by Corbin Strauss using MAXQDA 2018 software, categorized form central codes. Additionally, quality text interviews, well codes, reviewed approved team who well-known researchers field research. hypotheses quantitative phase reflected model obtained results part. After confirming validity reliability internal external community, they quantitatively tested, path performed Smart pls software. Results: findings open, axial, survey coding showed axial code had underlying 7 categories, structural 5 behavioral categories. revealed with coefficient 0.743 factor 0.850 affected individual factor.
